Immerse yourself in the authentic village life of the rural Rajasthan in this tour. In the itinerary you’ll experience the warm hospitality of the Rajasthani People of India as you walk from village to village, hiking through the terraced farmlands, and spending the evenings as guests of local villagers, in their beautifully renovated, yet simple homes. The idea behind the tour is to give an understanding of life in the Indian villages and culture.  The village life of India showcases a completely different world where one can lost in the aroma of simple yet interesting village life and leave behind the chaos of cities and town in and outside India. A walk on the rough trails of Indian villages will allow you to encounter various ancient communities within the rural villages of India like villages of Rajasthan. It will further allow you to come across the rural tourism in India and the reason behind its increasing popularity with the passage of time. Day 1 - Delhi –Udaipur-Bhagatpura

On arrival at Udaipur airport our representative will meet you and picks you from Udaipur airport and straight drive to the Bhagatpura, on arrival welcome in a traditional way.

They will serve dinner at roof top gives a view of beautiful nature and village.

Day 2 - Bhagtpura - Sansari (Rural Train Ride)

This morning after breakfast we leave from Bhagatpura and proceed towards Sansari and drive to the unique experience- 35 km rural train ride between two villages. You will go native today and travel with the villagers through exceedingly fascinating countryside and landscapes. After train we reach fulad railway station, where our driver meets us and we drive to the Sansari through beautiful rural areas.

Sansari is a small and beautiful village in Godwar region in Rajasthan, and situated on the foothills of the Aravali Mountain and surrounded by good flora and fauna. Popular for its camel herding Rabaris (name of local tribe) (that’s why called Shepherd village). So if you’re looking to get away from your hectic life to relax in an ambience where only the sounds of chirping birds and the fresh breeze greet you then Sansari is the most idyllic place. Upon arrival traditional welcome ceremony which includes aarti, tilak ceremony and heartwarming welcome songs sung by local women. After check- in formalities, finish your lunch. Evening visit local farm and interact with local farmers.

Day 3 - Sansari- Jawai (Leopard Safari)

After early breakfast proceed for village walk tour led by an English speaking guide and instructor. The tour starts from your base with passing through the beautiful rural country side. Swerving to unthreaded nooks and corners through the beautiful rural countryside and absorbing this historic village of Godwar at your own pace. A colorful landscape unfolds here with brightly clothed village women. Here you can see a typical hamlet of Rajasthan with people busy with farming. The camel herding Rabaris (Sheepherders), are an ethnic group to be found around Sansari and you will walk to their homesteads where we organize turban wear ceremony. It would be a memorable experience and educational at the same time to walk in their hamlets and get to know their life style and culture. We get to discover cows, goats, peacocks along the way. Later visit local school. After village tour back to the base, freshen up and after lunch check out from this colourful village and drive to next beautiful village Jawai.

Day 4 - Jawai – Bhadrajun (100kms approx)

After leisurely breakfast drive to Bhadrajun. Bhadrajun village is situated in the Jalore district of Rajasthan. It dates back to the times of the Mahabharata epic. According to the legend, the five Pandva brothers, after losing their kingdom in a dice game, were sentenced to 13 years of vanvaas (exile) by the cunning Kauravas. During the exile, the five brothers had to live incognito (without being recognized by anyone), failing which they would have to serve another 13 years of vanvaas. Arjuna, the aultimate archer, spent the final year of the exile in Lord Krishna’s kingdom Dwarka (Dwarka disguised as a saint. There, he fell in love with Krishna’s sister Subhadra. The affection was mutual. But there was a catch. The marriage between the two would have revealed Arjuna’s true identity and sentenced him to a repeat exile. Krishna came up with a quick solution: elopement. He incited Arjuna to elope with his sister subhadra. The two lovers made good their escape on a chariot, much to the anger of Balram, Krishna’s mercurial brother.After a toilsome journey of three days and two nights, Arjuna and Subhadra founded in a valley surrounded by hills on three sides. Here, they were married off by a priest. The place was thus named Subhadrajun an enmeshing of the names of Subhadra ans Arjun. Later, it was shortened to Bhadrajun. However, in recent centuries, it was the sight of war between the Mughal Empire and of the rulers of the Marwar dynasty. Upon arrival get an assisted check in to the hotel. Day 5 - Bhadrajun- Korta ( kms approx )

This morning after breakfast check out and proceed to Korta. This is a big and beautiful village is mainly famous for colorful markets. And the beautiful Rawla (Small Palace) roaring its mighty history is waiting your footsteps,

Day 6 - Korta - Chandelao

Today after breakfast drive to the Chandelao. Chandelao village situated in near Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. Chandelao was once the seat of the Thakur, who administered the affairs of five villages from this fortified home for the kingdom of Jodhpur.  On arrival check in to the chandelao garh- A Heritage home stay. Chandelao garh is an experience worth cherishing as you won’t have to compromise on the comfort to enjoy the rural lifestyle of the village. Chandelao is renowned for its fiercely independent people, its colorful clothing, and its handicrafts and its traditional way of life, you can also bond with the locals over a cup of chai and learn turban tying or get henna painting on your hand by the local women. Day 7 - Chandelao – Narlai

Today after delicious breakfast drive to the next destination Narlai, through the countryside visiting remote villages past hills and a bit of plain land for gallops. On arrival Traditional Welcome ceremony which includes aarti, tilak ceremony, and heartwarming welcome songs sung by local women. After check- in formalities in to Hotel Rawla  narlai, you will be led to your room.

After lunch later this evening we proceed to visit this village and introduce with many tribes and visit home.

Day 8 - Narlai– Nimaj

After lavish breakfast in Narlai checks out and drives to the Nimaj, Nimaj is remote and extremely beautiful village, located in Pali district of Rajasthan. Between Jaipur and Jodhpur, the landscape of Nimaj is made up of grasslands, scrub forests and wetlands. Countryside and local life is simple, and the villagers are usually happy to tell stories. Bird watching in this region is spectacular, with more than 200 species calling the area home. Nimaj is well off the tourist trail and is a charming representation of Rajasthani rural life.

Day 9 - Nimaj – Kurki

This morning after breakfast drives to the Kurki village. Kurki is a small village in Jaitaran of Rajasthan, and birth birthplace of Mira Bai. Mira bai was a great saint and devotee of Lord Shri Krishna. Despite facing criticism and hostility from her family, she lived an exemplary saintly life and composed many devotional bhajans. After check in to hotel, evening proceed to visit this beautiful small village.

It is also set amidst pretty natural surroundings and is a great place to come for a detailed look into rural life and enjoy delicious traditional Indian food, watch local farmers tend to corps, and chat to the local children who will be very curious about your family and country.

Day 10 - Kurki- Samode

After breakfast check out from Kurki and drive towards Samode village. Samode is a small village famous for hevelis & forts. It is located 42 km away from Jaipur. Exploring samode is an amazing opportunity, as it allows seeing the aura of rural lifeand age old culture. Samode village is the true mirror of customs followed by the Indian families for centuries. Nestled within the rugged yet beautiful aravali Hills, this beautiful village is ideal for ambling around, where you can discover an aesthetic beauty of havelis (Private mansions) and forts. With ancient art, culture and local handicrafts, there is much to explore. After check in proceed to village walk. It is good way to explore the village and enjoy its colors and unique customs. On the way enchant with the people of Samode, who are known for their warm and affectionate nature.  Later this evening enjoy musical, folk dance and the followed by dinner at your hotel.

Day 1 - Delhi Arrival

Welcome with Garland
Upon arrival at Delhi international Airport India Travel Together representative will receive you and take you to the your pre-booked hotel. Later discover the influence of the Mugul Emperors superimposed on the colonial era of Sir Edward Lutyens.

Day 2 - Delhi Excursion

The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan shifted the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi. After breakfast start tour of Old Delhi and coverd Jama Masjid- One of Asia’s largest mosque, built between 1644 and 1658, after Visit jama masjid explore the intricate bustling Old delhi through cycle rickshaw, local form of transport, through the narrow lanes of Chandni chowk. Once the most opulent perfume market of India, now famous for its Spice market. ( Sunday market closed ). Later drive past to the red fort. Home to Mughal emperors for around 200 yeras, built in red sandstone, it was once the fortified palace of the then capital. After Red fort proceed for visit Humanyun’s Tomb- Is Tomb of the Mughal emperor Humanyu.

Day 3 - Delhi - Bagdogra ( Flight ) Bagdogra to Darjeeling

After breakfast transfer to Delhi airport to board flight for Bagdogra. On arrival at Bagdogra airport Our driver will meet you at the airport, after meet and greet he will take you to the Darjeeling. After 70 kms approx 3 hours you will reach an height of 2123 meters / 70001 feet lies the land of breathtaking beauty sloping tea gardens with spectacular views of the Mount everest- Popularly known as the queen of the hills. ‘ Darjeeling. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Evening free at hotel.

Day 4 - Darjeeling Excursion

Early morning around 4 am drive to primitive forestes of oak, mangolia to tiger hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga peak ( subject to clear weather )- Upon return on the way visit Ghoom monastery, peace memorial and batasia loop. after visit back to the hotel and finish your breakfast. Take some rest, later proceed half day city tour of Darjeeling and covering- Himalayan mountaineering institute (Closed on Thursday ), Tensing gumpo rock, Tea Estate, Natural history museum. Day 5 - Darjeeling - Kalimpong ( 65 kms Approx 1-2 hrs )

Today After Early morning breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Kalimpong- Situated on the foothills of the Himalayas is a green destination at an altitude of 1243 meters. It is historical destinations with bustling market, colourful people and offers spectacular views of the Himalayan range. After check in procced to visit – Forest museum ( Closed on Thursday ), Deolo hill, Hanuman Mandir, Durbin Monastery. Later back to hotel

Day 6 - Kalimpong - Gangtok ( Drive 75 kms Approx 2-3 hrs )

After breakfast check out from hotel towards drive approx 75 Kms, and reach Gangtok the capital of Sikkim suits all from tranquility to adventure, land of monestary, mystic rituals & festivals at an height of 1620 meters. Is the most visited spot of India. It is one of the most beautiful town with varieties of Orchids and Butterflies, Check into the hotel.

Day 7 - Gangtok

Today morning after breakfast proceed to visit and covering Tsomgo Lake- This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks and many migratory birds. Baba mandir- The sacred baba mandir known to be a very holu site for all. Evening free for shopping near MG road.
Over night stay at Gangtok hotel.
Apline Sanctuary, the home of the red pands and the blood pheasant with Rhododendron and other alpine trees.

Day 8 - Gangtok - Lachung ( 75 kms Approx 2-3 hrs )

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Excursion to Gurudongmar lake, After a velley at an attitute of 11800 feet through which Lachen Chu flows, generally covered with snow from December to April or even more is known as the Holy – Sacred Lake, drive through the cold desert till Tibet / China. After drive to the Lachung, check into the hotel. Evening free for visit Lachung Monastery.

Day 9 - Lachung - Gangtok

Today after morning breakfast excursion Yumthang, on the way you may visit the famous hot spring which is known for is curative properties of skin diseases- Yaumthang is a valley near the river lachung chu surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends. In sping the valley erupts in riots of colors as primulae, Return to hotel for lunch. After lunch checout from hotel and drive to the Gangtok.

Day 1 - Delhi Arrival

Day 2 - Delhi - Jodhpur

Today after breakfast check out from hotel and drop you at the Delhi domesti airport to catch flight for Jodhpur. Jodhpur (Blue city, sun city  ) city founded in 1459, by Rao Jodha.

Upon arrival at the Jodhpur airport, your driver and tour guide will meet you at the airport, after proceed to the your hotel where you staying for tonight. After check in proceed to visit Jodhpur city and covering Mehrangarh Fort- Is the most majestic and one of the largest forts in India. Jaswant Thada- It is a white marble memorial bulit in 1899 in memory of Maharaja Jaswant singh 2. Later this evening take heritage walk around blue old city.

Day 3 - Jodhpur - Osiyan

This morning after breakfast you will drive to the Thar desert. On arrival check into the desert camp. Later this evening upon sunset time proceed to camel ride, after sunset back to camp, Evening enjoy with culture programe and dance.

Day 4 - Osiyan - Narlai

Today after breakfast check out from desert and drive to the Narlai – is a small shephered village and it lies at base of a hillock crowned by a colossal statue of an elephant. There are several Hindu and Jain temples. The temples of Adinath and Lord Shiva are most prominent temples. The ceilings of these temples are decorated with fine murals.On arrival check into the hotel. Later this evening take a wildlife safari by 4×4 gypsy and spot leopard.

Day 5 - Narlai - Sansari

Today you will depart from Narlai and drive towards next destination Sansari.  Sansari is a taste of authentic Rajasthani rural life. To the east, the aravali hills and scrub forests are dotted with small farms and also has been an important village in the Kantha area of Godwar Region. Control of this colorful village, provides the access route to mewar. Its fertile land provided access to rich revenue. There have been numerous battles fought near this town, and it continued till last century for its control. After avoids highway and busy traffic we reach in rural area.

Sansari is a historical and shepherd village. It is the most romantic and at the same time one of the most overwhelming place. Sansari was a Thikana of Solanki Rajputs who is off shoot of family of Roopnagar (Mewar region). It was founded by thakur Bhopat singh in 1607.

Upon arrival check in to the boutique home stay where you staying for tonight. This afternoon explore this beautiful village. – It is said that the real India is its rural areas, the country around Sansari boasts of very interesting landscapes, with the picturesque aravali hills in the east. After explore this beautiful village back to home stay.

Day 6 - Sansari - Deogarh ( Rural train ride )

Today check out from Sansari and say by to local family where we stayed last time and move forward to our next destination Deogarh. Today is our most memorable ride, this is mixture Drive 25 kms and  and 35 kms train ride between two villages with local people. After train ride again drive from railway station to the hotel.

Upon arrival check in to the hotel Deogarh mahal a heritage hotel, where we stay for tonight. After check in time is leisure and free for own activities or relax into the pool. Later this evening after high tea, we move out and proceed and explore this colorful and historical town of Mewar region. We will see some beautiful tribe’s and people, mostly men they wear different type and colorful turbans women wear different type of Gagra (Skirt) kurti and odhni. Later after visit we come back to hotel.

Day 7 - Deogarh - Nimaj ( Chhatra Sagar )

Today check out from hotel and drive to the Nimaj. Nimaj is a beautiful and historical village. on arrival check in to the, Lake view Luxuries tent with panoramic view.

Day 8 - Nimaj - Ranthambore

After Early morning breakfast drive to next destination Jaipur – Capital city of Rajasthan, also known by name of Pink city. Upon arrival check in at the hotel, freshn up and relax for a while and then proceed for the sightseeing of Jaipur and visit – Hawa mahal, a monument that is known for its unique architecture, after proceed to visit City palace- the palace that still serves as home to the royal family and has so many precious treasures to showcase for the tourists.  Evening at leisure.

Day 10 - Jaipur - Nangal

The picturesque city of lakes and innumerable palaces dotting the banks of Lake Pichola. Visit the Magnificent City Palace, an enormous edifice that stands on a hill on the banks of Lake Pichola, surrounded by crenulated walls. Built in 1567, it is composed of 4 major palaces and several minor palaces that form a single stunning façade. The Chittorgarh (literally Chittor Fort), also known as Chittod Fort, is one of the largest forts in India. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fort was the capital of Mewar and is located in the present-day city of Chittorgarh. It sprawls over a hill 180 m (590.6 ft) in height spread over an area of 280 ha (691.9 acres) above the plains of the valley drained by the Berach River. The fort covers 65 historic structures, which include four palaces, 19 large temples, 20 large canter bodies, 4 memorials and a few victory towers.

Day 9 - Jaipur to Agra

Visit Agra Fort – One of the large fortified residences built at various strategic points of the Mughal Empire started by Emperor Akbar in 1565. Visit the Taj Mahal at Sunrise (closed on Friday), Built by Emperor Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his beloved Queen Begum Mumtaz. This wonder of the world is said to have taken 21 years to build. It has an enormous shimmering white dome with four corner minarets and is marked by perfect symmetry and harmony, be it the shape of theminarets; the cupolas; the central arch in the façade; the perfectly arranged arched recesses or the intricate stone inlay work. Day 13 - Orchha / Khajuraho

Post breakfast drive to Khajuraho. Afternoon visit of Khajuraho temples. The Khajuraho group of monuments was built during the rule of the Chandela dynasty. The building activity started almost immediately after the rise of their power, throughout their kingdom to be later known as Bundelkhand. Most temples were built during the reigns of the Hindu kings Yashovarman and Dhanga. Yashovarman’s legacy is best exhibited by the Lakshmana Temple. Day 5 - DAY TRIP – AIHOLE & PATTADAKAL

The next nearest destination to be planned can be Aihole. Just 140 km away from Hampi, Aihole takes about 2 and a half hours to reach by road. A cluster of around 120 temples from the 4th century AD, Aihole is a historic site along the Malaprabha river valley in Northern Karnataka. Aihole is a delight to visit for those interested in history, archaeology, architecture, heritage, and ancient temples. The most popular and the face of Aihole is the Durga Temple. A cluster of temples mainly comprises Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist temples. The Durga temple complex also has an art gallery and an archaeological Museum which should not be missed. There is a collection of exquisite antiques excavated from the region. Contrary to its name, Lad Khan Temple showcases the iconography from Shaiva, Vaishnava, and Shakti or Durga traditions of Hinduism.

Also known as the ‘cradle of Indian Rock Architecture’, Aihole was the first capital of Chalukyas, who ruled the north Karnataka region. The temples are now being conserved and protected by the Archaeology Survey of India. A 6th-century rock-cut Ravana Phadi Cave that houses Shiva and Parvathi is another attraction not to be missed. The caves consist of intricate craftsmanship featuring Lord Shiva, Parvathi, Ganesha, and Lord Vishnu. The other famous temples are Garudagudi, Chakragudi, Ambigaragudi, Rachigudi, Kuntigudi, Hallibasappa Gudi, Badigargudi, Trimbakeshwar temple, Mallikarjuna Temple, and Jyotirlinga Temple.

PATTADAKAL EXCURSION

Just 13 km away from Aihole Pattadakal takes about 20 minutes to reach. A UNESCO World Heritage site from the 7th and 8th centuries consist of Hindu and Jain temples. Unique craftsmanship depicts both the North and South Indian styles of architecture. Chalukyas used Pattadakal for coronation ceremonies. One of the main attractions at Pattadakal is Virupaksha Temple. Constructed by queen Lokamahadevi in the 8th century AD to celebrate her husband and King Vikramaditya’s victory over Pallavas. Unparalleled craftsmanship at Virupaksha temple showcases the sculptures of Ugra Narshimha and Nataraja. The other popular temples in the complex are Papanatha temple, Galaganatha Temple, Sangameshwara temple, Chandrashekara temple, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Mallikarjuna Temple, Jambu Lingeshwara Temple, and Kadasiddeshwar Temple.

One of the most attractive events at Pattadakal is the Pattadakal Festival. A mesmerizing amalgamation of music and dance with Pattadakal temples in the backdrop makes the festival a visual treat for the spectators.

Day 6 - PATTADAKAL - BADAMI

Formerly known as Vatapi and serving as the capital of Chalukyas, Badami was constructed between the 6th and 8th centuries. Located in the district Bagalkote headquarters, Badami invites tourists, travellers, researchers, and all those who love history and heritage for its sandstone cave temples and carvings. Badami cave temple complex is home to a Jain temple and three Hindu temples. The caves at Badami are based on themes depicting, Tandava Dance by lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, and his carnations. The stunning and mesmerizing backdrop of Agastya Lake and cave temple landscapes, these monuments are of great historical importance and invite photography enthusiasts.

Another attraction not to be missed near Badami is the Bhutanatha temple complex. Just a kilometre away from the main Badami cave temples, these clusters of sandstone shrines were built over a period from the 7th to 11th century AD.

Day 7 - BADAMI – HOSPET – HAMPI (4 Hrs)

The early morning, take your breakfast today because you move to Badami. To achieve Badami, you drive through Plateau en route to Hospet Deccan. On your way you visit a picturesque gorge between two hills of sandstone. In afternoon, strong south of call will see the temples extraordinarily cut back to the 6th century. The next nearest destination to be planned can be Aihole. Just 140 km away from Hampi, Aihole takes about 2 and a half hours to reach by road. A cluster of around 120 temples from the 4th century AD, Aihole is a historic site along the Malaprabha river valley in Northern Karnataka. Aihole is a delight to visit for those interested in history, archaeology, architecture, heritage, and ancient temples. The most popular and the face of Aihole is the Durga Temple. A cluster of temples mainly comprises Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist temples. The Durga temple complex also has an art gallery and an archaeological Museum which should not be missed. There is a collection of exquisite antiques excavated from the region. Contrary to its name, Lad Khan Temple showcases the iconography from Shaiva, Vaishnava, and Shakti or Durga traditions of Hinduism.

Also known as the ‘cradle of Indian Rock Architecture’, Aihole was the first capital of Chalukyas, who ruled the north Karnataka region. The temples are now being conserved and protected by the Archaeology Survey of India. A 6th-century rock-cut Ravana Phadi Cave that houses Shiva and Parvathi is another attraction not to be missed. The caves consist of intricate craftsmanship featuring Lord Shiva, Parvathi, Ganesha, and Lord Vishnu. The other famous temples are Garudagudi, Chakragudi, Ambigaragudi, Rachigudi, Kuntigudi, Hallibasappa Gudi, Badigargudi, Trimbakeshwar temple, Mallikarjuna Temple, and Jyotirlinga Temple.

PATTADAKAL EXCURSION

Just 13 km away from Aihole Pattadakal takes about 20 minutes to reach. A UNESCO World Heritage site from the 7th and 8th centuries consist of Hindu and Jain temples. Unique craftsmanship depicts both the North and South Indian styles of architecture. Chalukyas used Pattadakal for coronation ceremonies. One of the main attractions at Pattadakal is Virupaksha Temple. Constructed by queen Lokamahadevi in the 8th century AD to celebrate her husband and King Vikramaditya’s victory over Pallavas. Unparalleled craftsmanship at Virupaksha temple showcases the sculptures of Ugra Narshimha and Nataraja. The other popular temples in the complex are Papanatha temple, Galaganatha Temple, Sangameshwara temple, Chandrashekara temple, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Mallikarjuna Temple, Jambu Lingeshwara Temple, and Kadasiddeshwar Temple.

One of the most attractive events at Pattadakal is the Pattadakal Festival. A mesmerizing amalgamation of music and dance with Pattadakal temples in the backdrop makes the festival a visual treat for the spectators.

Formerly known as Vatapi and serving as the capital of Chalukyas, Badami was constructed between the 6th and 8th centuries. Located in the district Bagalkote headquarters, Badami invites tourists, travellers, researchers, and all those who love history and heritage for its sandstone cave temples and carvings. Badami cave temple complex is home to a Jain temple and three Hindu temples. The caves at Badami are based on themes depicting, Tandava Dance by lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, and his carnations. The stunning and mesmerizing backdrop of Agastya Lake and cave temple landscapes, these monuments are of great historical importance and invite photography enthusiasts.

Another attraction not to be missed near Badami is the Bhutanatha temple complex. Just a kilometre away from the main Badami cave temples, these clusters of sandstone shrines were built over a period from the 7th to 11th century AD.

The early morning, take your breakfast today because you move to Badami. To achieve Badami, you drive through Plateau en route to Hospet Deccan. On your way you visit a picturesque gorge between two hills of sandstone. In afternoon, strong south of call will see the temples extraordinarily cut back to the 6th century. Call it a day, stay for the night in your hotel.

Post breakfast visit bhada wildlife sanctuary, After lunch, you visit the temples at Belur and Halebid. You will also visit beautiful hill stations Kemmanagundi and Kudremukh, where you can get your cameras to capture some of the best photographs of your life. In equalize, you can explore the local markets of Chikmagalur. Remove for the night in your hotel.

Post breakfast, hotel checkout and transfer to Nagahole tiger reserve and Glenlorna Tea State visit and overnight Kannur.

Day 1 - Delhi

Arrive Delhi by flight from onwards destinations.

On arrival at Indira Gandhi International airport, our representative will receive you at the visitor’s lounge. With a paging sign bearing your name. You will then be escorted to your    hotel in a private vehicle.

After freshen up proceed for guided city tour. Delhi, the vibrant capital city of India lying along the River Yamuna. is a teaming. metropolis of 14 million people and nowhere in the country is the contrast between old and new more obvious. Seven cities have existed here since the 10th century, ruled over by succession of Rajputs, Turks, Afghans, Mughals and the  British. Day 2 - Delhi - Agra

Today after breakfast and drive to Agra. On arrival check in at hotel. Later proceed to visit Agra city. Agra was the capital of the Mughul court during the 16th and 17th centuries and its sublime monuments date from that era. The emperors Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jahan governed their vast empires from here and as prolific builders; artisans from Persia, Central Asia and other parts of India were attracted by their patronage. The resulting luxurious palaces, tombs, forts and gardens dot the picturesque riverine region along the Yamuna River: three of which, the Taj Mahal, Agra fort and Fatehpur Sikri have been declared world heritage sites.

Agra is renowned for its delicate Pietra Dura work; a Florentine technique imported by Jahangir of arranging minute pieces of precious and semi- precious stones in complex. stylized floral and geometric designs into a marble base.

Day 3 - Agra- Jaipur

Post breakfast commence your drive to Jaipur, upon arrival check- in at your hotel. Late afternoon explores the markets of Pink city.

Jaipur or the City of Victor, was founded in 1727 Ad by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh ll  and is a well- planned city of magnificent palaces and building. Built from rose- colored terra cotta, it has given it the name ‘ Pink City’. Nowadays the capital of Rajasthan with a population of over 1 million, it is a city full of contrasts with bazaars teeming with turbaned elders and jean clad youngsters to camels, horses and a multitude of vehicles. Jaipur’s focal point is the magnificent Hawa Mahal, otherwise known as the Palace of the winds.

Start the sightseeing of Jaipur and visit the following monuments:

  • Jantar Mantar ( observatory )

Day 4 - Jaipur - Pushkar

Today you will be transferred to Pushkar by road.

Pushkar is one of the oldest cities in India. Located to the northwest of Ajmer, the tranquil city of Pushkar is a favoured destination for thousands of tourists and devotees flocking to Rajasthan. Situated at a height of 510 meters, Pushkar is surrounded by hillocks on three sides. The ‘ Nag Pahar ‘, between Ajmer and literally meaning Snake Mountain forms a natural border. Known as ‘ the rose garden of Rajasthan’, the essence of the famous Pushkar rose is exported all over the world. Along with an interesting mythological history, a legacy of timeless architectural heritage makes Pushkar a fascinating city.

According to legends. Lords Brahma, believed to be the creator of the Universe dropped a lotus to the ground leading to the immediate creation of a lake. He then decided to name the place after the flower, and thus the name, Pushkar. The city of Pushkar is home to the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the whole world. Hindus consider a journey to Pushkar to be the ultimate pilgrimage that must be undertaken to attain salvation.

Nestled in the picturesque Pushkar valley beyond the Nangaparvat and Anasagar Lake, the Brahma temple holds a special place in the hearts of Indians. It is the only temple in the world dedicated to lord Brahma. Built with marble and decorated with silver coins, this temple can be identified by its red spire and the image of a swan (considered sacred to Lord Brahma). The chaturmukhi (four faced) idol of Lord Brahma is housed in the inner sanctum. A marble statue of the sun god stands sentinel at the temple. Interestingly, while all the gods are shown bare footed, Surya is shown wearing ancient warrior’s boots.

Day 4 - Pushkar - Kumbhalgarh

Sunrise proceed for the camel safari at dunes.

Post breakfast drive to Kumbhalgarh. upon arrival proceed to visit Kumbhalgarh fort.

Kumbhalgarh also known as the great wall of India is a Mewar fortress on the westerly range of Aravlli Hills, just about 48 km from Rajsamand city in the Rajsamand district of the Rajasthan state in western India. It is located about 90km from Udaipur. It is world Heritage site included in hill Forts of Rajasthan. It was built during the 15th century by Rana Kumbha. Later this evening enjoy with light and sound show kumbhalgarh fort.

Day 6 - Kumbhalgarh - Jojawar ( Explore shepherds village and Dinner with local Family )

Today after breakfast you will drive- 75 km, then you embark upon a unique experience –20 km train ride between two villages. You will go native today, and travel with the villagers through exceedingly fascinating countryside and landscapes, light refreshment  in train, your driver meet you at the Fulad  Railway station with, then drive 25 km towards Jojawar. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. after lunch explore the local market of Jojawar.

Evening you drive to visit  historical Sansari Village. Sansari was a Thikana of Solanki Rajputs who is off shoot of family of Roopnagar (Mewar region). It was founded by Thakur Bhopat Singh in 1607. The village is located in foothills of Aravali range in Godwar region and its rulers used to pay tributes to Rulers of Udaipur, before Godwar was taken over by Rulers of Jodhpur. The annual rekh (tax) submitted was Rs. 800. upon arrival proceed to visit shepherd community.

The shepherds of the region are the- the camel herding  Rabaris, who are a beautifully dressed tribe with men in blood-red turbans and women in lovely black and red printed skirts and saris, and you will cycle to their homestead, where you feel like a part of the bygone era. It would be a memorable experience and educational at the same time to walk in their hamlets and get to know their life style and culture.

After visiting finish your dinner with local family. Later drive back to Jojawar for overnight stay.

Day 7 - Jojawar - Udaipur ( En route visit Ranakpur Jain temple )

Today you will be transferred to Udaipur by road. Regarded by many as the most romantic city in India, Udaipur is an enchanting image of white marble palaces, placid blue lakes and green hills. It is an oasis of color in a stark and arid region. the city is dominated by the massive city Palace overlooking lake Pichola with its white island palaces. Picturesque havelis, Ghats and temples along the lake front, lively bazaars of the old city and a relaxing atmosphere make Udaipur perfect for wandering around and a visit is considered one of India’s greatest highlights.

Upon arrival check in at hotel. Evening proceed to Baghore- ki- haveli, and enjoy with culture program, and folk dance.

After show dinner at city side restaurant.  Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 - Udaipur

Today after breakfast start the sightseeing of Udaipur and City palace, Jagdish temple. Evening proceed to sunset boat ride in Lake Pichola.
